Nights at 64degrees

It's been awesome weather here in Tennessee the past few days. Man it stinks to be working while the sun is shining. That leaves only one thing to do. You've guessed it. Night rides. I made the H.O.G. chapter meeting tonight and then squeezed in a little ride afterwords. Fifty miles to be exact. Sure does make it rough for me to get up at 3:30 in the morning. But it's worth every bit of it. I did get in a couple of rides over the weekend and shot some photographs as well. Hopefully I'll get those posted here in the next day or two.

One really cool thing happened Sunday afternoon. I ran into one of my blog/photography heroes. How funny is it to have someone follow you for several miles only to realize it is one of your inspirations. That's right y'all, I met Swag. I couldn't believe it. He is one of my main influences for this blog. He also pointed me toward one of my other blogging heroes. We all know and enjoy Crusty. So how fitting to end a weekend and meet a hero. Especially to meet on the road. I was babbling like a little school girl. One thing I'm ticked about. I forgot to get the camera out and take a picture of Swag and myself.

That gets the meeting of all my blogging pals underway. Now on to the rest of you. Well at least the ones here in the states.

Ok but I am just having a really hard time picturing YOU "babbling like a school girl" ha ha... you are so not a "babbler". Anyway, glad you had a chance to meet someone you admired...too bad about not getting a pic. I am soooo jealous of you & your "night rides"... you know how much I love those. (ride safe!)

Nights at 64 degrees. Must be nice. We haven't gotten about 57 during the day yet recently. But that feels pretty balmy compared to the cold temperatures we had.

I like riding at night but don't often get the chance. Lots of deer around here too so it can get dicey in places if you aren't creeping along.

I didn't know about Swag but I have followed Crusty. He's a character!

Thanks for all the great comments y'all.

Mark: That's an honor that you have my blog as your start up. I figured if I write about motorcyles and such it will keep me from telling all those stories from when we were teenagers.....Man we had some fun.

Divie: Thanks, glad you get a kick out of my stories.

Mr.Motorcycle: Thanks for the compliment on the photos. I'm working on getting good at it.

Steve: I hope to meet you one of these days as well. You take amazing photographs and I always am inspired by your writings. I think it would be cool to have the Vespa riding in a pack with other bikes. In fact between you and the Chuggabug I think about getting one myself.

I think 64 degrees was the highest temp we've seen yet this year, (during the day). Last Saturday was when it got that warm in Minnesota. You're lucky.

It's really a small world after all. I think that's pretty cool you happen to meet up with a fellow blogger! Two fellow bloggers! I think we should really consider Road Captain's idea of getting a Blogger Brigade organized. How fun would that be! Ride on! Lady R

Swag's site is the bomb. That's so cool. I was just over at his site and noticed he had a link to your blog.

Until today, we haven't even had a DAY at 64 degrees! It hit 70 today and it would've been a glorious day to ride. As luck goes sometimes, I don't get the bike out of the shop until tomorrow - and it's supposed to start raining late Friday - right thru the weekend.

That's alright though. I've waited 6 months, a few more days won't matter. Glad you are able to get out and enjoy!

Ride Safe.

I guess you'll never know who you might run into on the road. Speaking of that, I have a question for you. My pal the Road Runner wanted me to ask you, if you've ever seen the "Crazy Lady?" LOL! Lady R

That is so cool you met Swag. It's almost surreal to meet someone from cyberspace. Tomorrow is promising to have temps over 60, maybe even 70 for the first time this year. You know I'll be riding....
